How do we book a reservation?
It is better to call if booking a custom tour. Details, Details. How many people, what type of car, are you purchasing wine, how long do want a tour for, time for pickup and where, what valley are we touring...so many things to work out...It will help get the ball rolling for your wine tour or special event. Call, email or use our simple one page online booking system to book one of our public group tours.
How far in advance do I need to book?
March through November is our "peak" season and Saturdays are always busy. For private tours, book more in advance to secure the vehicle of your choice. The daily group tours are less likely to fully book but if you have a solid date...book it. If it does book up, you can go the next day. It is always good to secure a reservation once you are sure of your plans.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our policy is 72 hours on the group tours, 5 days for Private Tours, 14 days on vehicles that carry 12 or more passengers. The cancellation must confirmed. Email or call the office and we will send an cancellation confirmation. There will be a $25 administration fee for all early canceled reservations. A credit card is always taken to secure your reservation and the full charge will apply if canceled late..
How do we dress? | ||
Napa casual is fine, dress for comfort. Wind and rain is always a consideration; Napa is beautiful in all weather. Spring to fall, think "layer fashion", the valley can be a bit warmer than the city, mornings can and nights can be cooler than mid day. Peel off, Peel on. Napa casual or the 9's are encouraged.
How do we ship our wine? | ||
The wineries ship and there are several independent shippers in the valley. Clients also check it as baggage on their flights home in the boxed 'styrofoam' capsules that you can get here. They come in 3, 6, and 12 bottle capacities and are sold all around the valleys. Ask your concierge if the hotel can arrange shipping your valubles, sometimes they can assist in that. There are different laws affecting each state so ask if there are any special requirements for your state. Many times it is easier to ship to a business address because there is always someone to receive the package. Remember wine is perishable so sometimes shipments are held due to weather and shhip out when the time is right.
What are the best restaurants?
They are all good. Lots of Michelin stars gracing the culinary stars of this valley. Thomas Keller, Cindy Pawlcyn and Michael Chiarello are some of the local talent that feed the hungary. Seatings are in demand especially Friday Saturday nights and especially during peak season in the months of March to the end of harvest (November). Make reservations as soon as you can in your planning if you want that 6 - 9 pm slot. Many take walk-ins if tables or bar stools become available.
